Participants in this year’s Gumball 3000 intercontinental rally stopped in the port city of Angelhom on the west coast of Sweden as they left Copenhagen and some drivers took the chance to check out the headquarters of Koenigsegg, which is one of the world’s foremost supercar manufacturer (in case you didn’t know). It seems that despite all the amazing cars (errari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Koenigsegg, and McLaren), it was a 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss that really turned heads. Only 75 of them were mad and the Stirling Moss is one of the rarest and most expensive car today. -

2013 Fisker Karma
To be perfectly frank, until recently, I just didn’t get the Fisker Karma. I was reasonably familiar, of course, with the car’s obligatory checklist of technological innovations, as well as the moral mandate of green that pervaded its design brief. A luxury-segment, gasoline generator-reinforced, electrically powered plug-in hybrid 4-door sports car with a solar-panel roof somewhat speaks for itself. And company founder and chief designer Henrik Fisker’s resume, which includes penning the BMW Z8 and the Aston Martin DB9, commands the kind of respect that ensures patience with such a tender and tenuous venture of a car company.

DeSean Jackson
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson is a trooper and steadily maintained his position as one of the team’s key players, even after a tough injury toward the end of the season. Back in November, during a Monday night battle against the Panthers, Jackson fractured his ribs, keeping him sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Pauly D
It’s another typical weekend in Las Vegas and party goers at Vanity Nightclub inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino are amped up on drinks in anticipation of witnessing one of DJ Pauly D’s notorious sets. The opening DJ closes his set and Pauly D takes his place behind the turntables. Once changing of the DJ guards is done, Pauly D drops his first song and welcomes everyone to the club.

Vinny Guadagnino
While some might keep their addiction to MTV’s “Jersey Shore” a secret indulgence, we’re totally open to the fact that we watch it. And we’ll continue to watch it until MTV decides to pull the plug on the cultural phenomenon reality show that has changed our lives since it first aired back in 2009. We like it so much that we’ve already checked out several cast members’ garages and needed its youngest male housemate, Vinny Guadagnino’s ride, to make it complete!

It takes a lot of faith to leave the familiar behind for new and uncharted territories, especially when you’re chasing a dream. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines faith as having “complete trust,” “something that is believed especially with strong conviction,” and “a firm belief in something for which there is no proof.” None of these definitions are easy to grasp which is what makes faith such a complex and abstract notion, yet something that is innate in us all.
