The tour kick-off this past Sunday March18th set the perfect tone for the 2007 show series with DUB Magazine's largest show in it's seven year history. More than 30,000 attendees crammed into the Los Angeles Convention Center to see a collection of the nation's hottest custom rides and the all star concert performances. It was the largest automotive event to ever hit Los Angeles!

With more than $15 million worth of exotic cars, luxury sedans, sport compacts, 4x4's, and motorcycles on display, the DUB show in L.A. was the only place to see such a diversity in customs under one roof. Highlights included Alpine's debut of the $1 million Imprint Mercedes RLS, as well as a huge roster of exotics including the Mercedes Benz SLR, McLaren 722, Ferrari Enzo, and dozens of vehicles from Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bentley and many others. Also on display were the new line-up of DUB Edition customs such as the Dodge Nitro and Caliber, Chrysler Aspen, Chevy Tahoe, and the hot new Wrangler Unlimited on 30-inch TIS:M wheels. Another DUB show staple is the celebrity car showcase which this time featured rides from Gwen Stefani, Matt Leinart, and Danity Kane just to name a few.

The all-star concert lit up the convention center capacity crowd with performances from the LAX Boys, Baby Bash, Jim Jones, Bone Thugs 'n Harmony, Hot Dollar with Guerilla Black, Mike Jones, and Ludacris, with a special unannounced performance from Chris Brown! Among the many celebrities roaming the show floor were football stars Matt Leinart & Smush Parker, Vida Guerra, Chris Brown, Sergio Mora, Will I Am, Bernard Hopkins, Rampage, and Korn's Fieldy.

This past Sunday, April 29, marked the 2nd stop of the 2007 DUB Custom Auto Show & Concert as over 13,600 attendees escaped the hot summer Arizona heat (and a fierce dust storm) to see hundreds of hot custom cars and hip hop's top talent. It was the first time the DUB tour landed in Phoenix but as it turned out, the entire city was filled with buzz that the renowned DUB show had finally arrived.
Car culture is alive and kicking in Phoenix as nearly every car scene was on site! Customized sport compacts, luxury, exotic, 4x4 and SUVs crowded the convention center floor. Highlights included Alpine's $1 million Imprint Mercedes RLS and the new line-up of DUB Edition customs such as the Dodge Nitro and Caliber, Chrysler Aspen, Chevy Tahoe, Buick Lucerne, and the hot new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on 30-inch TIS:M wheels. Amp'd Mobile also debuted their DUB customized Kawasaki Quad on 26" Dropstars 01 wheels! Another DUB show staple is the celebrity car showcase which this time featured rides from Gwen Stefani, Matt Leinart, The Game, Tony Hawk, and Danity Kane just to name a few.

As if Phoenix couldn't get any hotter, Baby Bash, Lil Scrappy, Jim Jones, and Mims turned it up on stage with their smash hits. All of the concert performers as well as the stunning Vida Guerra were available throughout the day for autographs at the sponsor displays. Speaking of displays, Pioneer won the award for best vendor display of show with their elaborate dome exhibit which featured a 360 degree video projection, lounge seating, custom rides, and DJ talent demonstrating the latest Pioneer pro audio gear.

One lucky attendee pulled the winning key at the Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge display, and drove away in a brand new DUB Edition Dodge Nitro as a part of a giveaway through Power 98.3FM! Congratulations from all of us here at the original automotive lifestyles magazine.

The celebrity car showcase was a Memphis favorite with featured rides from Dwayne Robinson, Gwen Stefani, Matt Leinart, The Game, Tony Hawk, and Danity Kane just to name a few!

Memphis is known for it's music heritage, and the DUB show contributed with it's all star hip hop show featuring Jim Jones, Lil Scrappy, Young Buck, and Lil Flip!
