HOUSTON SHOW RECAP
The 2007 DUB Custom Auto Show & Concert continues it's record breaking year with Houston as the latest tour stop held this past Sunday August 26th. Over 17,000 DUB fans came out to experience the hottest custom cars and hip hop performances in over 300,000 sq. ft. at the Reliant Center!
Hundreds of customized sport compacts, luxury, exotic, 4x4 and SUVs were on display. Highlights included The new DUB customized Dodge Nitro for the Pepsi Street Motion tour, Alpine's $1 million Imprint Mercedes RLS, and $1 million Mercedes-Benz SL600 from D.A.D. which feature over 300,000 embedded crystals! The show also featured the new line-up of DUB Edition customs such as the Dodge Avenger, Nitro and Caliber, Chrysler Sebring and Aspen, Chevy Tahoe, Buick Lucerne, and the hot new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on 30-inch TIS:M wheels. The celebrity car showcase with featured rides from Lil Scrappy, Genuwine, Gwen Stefani, Matt Leinart, The Game, Tony Hawk, T.I., Dale Earnardt Jr., and Danity Kane.
Houston's concert stage was a non-stop hip hop showcase of what's topping the charts. Top talent including Lil Scrappy, Baby Boy Da Prince, Huey, Richboy, Trae, Slim Thug and Paul Wall rocked the main stage. All of the concert performers and special guests were available throughout the day for autographs at the sponsor displays. Special guests included Houston Texan running back Ahman Green and his fleet of customs and Denver Nuggets star Anthony Carter with his award winning Hummer H2.
Throughout the tour, DUB has been teaming up with local radio stations and car manufacturers to give away DUB Edition custom cars! Congratulations to the winner of the 2007 Chevy HHR at the Chevy display! Also new to the tour is the amazing Dell Extreme Gaming Experience with dozens of Dell's sexy gaming PCs on display.
