Z DESIGNZ

Written by
Z Designz is no conventional speed shop. One noteworthy vehicle of theirs is a 2015 Toyota Sienna minivan that they transformed into “The Toyota UUV” (Ultimate Utility Vehicle). Built for Toyota’s SEMA booth in 2015, The UUV is a matte-black suicide-doored, off-road beast that looks like it’s kept in the Batcave when not on car show duty.

Galpin Auto Sports

Written by
Beau Boeckmann, President of Galpin Auto Sports (G.A.S.), vividly recalls one of his most memorable experiences with automotive legend Carroll Shelby. “I was most taken aback with one incident when he came into Galpin and asked my dad and I what we thought of some of the projects he was working on,” he reminisces. “I thought, ‘Wow, here’s one of my idols in the industry, asking me what I thought about some of his projects.’ It was so cool just to sit around and chat with Shelby about all things automotive related and more. It’s an honor to have been…

RMD Garage

Written by
Ralph Holguin of RMD Group is no stranger to elaborate builds. The CEO and avid automotive enthusiast has been featured in DUB previously with his immaculate ’61 Chevy Impala called “Tiffany and Co.” that he named after one of his daughters. Addicted to the rush customizing can bring, Holguin has once again set out to create another beauty, this time opting for a ’56 Ford F-100 classic pickup truck. “I think like all men, you fall in love with trucks while growing up,” he says. “My dad had a Ford truck when I was younger, which I vividly remember. Even…

Killer Kreations

Written by
One look at the artwork/airbrushing that Fred Sicoli does and for sure you’ll be blown away at the amazing talent he has. The intricate detail and precise airbrush work he puts into all of his designs is almost unreal, as they seem to pop up from their medium in a 3D way. In one word, they are killer; probably one reason why he named his shop Killer Kreations based out of South Philadelphia. The self-taught artist is blazing the airbrush scene with his superior talents and quickly growing into a hot commodity within the aftermarket/customization scene.

Murry’s Auto

Written by
Melvin Murry remembers quite vividly the days he spent at the track, as his father drag raced when he was younger. It was his father who helped him develop his love of all things automotive and sparked his interested in customizing cars. “My father took me to car shows and got me interested in all types of cars—especially muscle cars—then we’d wrench on things since he was also a mechanic,” he remembers.

Hack Shack

Written by
“Everything is Bigger in Texas,” is a popular colloquialism about the Lone Star State and it certainly applies to the state’s vast and growing car culture. Hack Shack is one of the state’s (and country’s) notable customization shops, known for their extraordinary jobs and superior service. Located in Garland (considered Dallas county), Hack Shack is a one-stop customization shop that literally does it all. “From air suspension to body drops, if your ride needs it, we can do it,” explains owner Jay Ivey. “The Hack Shack has turned out some of the most tricked-out rides in Texas.” That’s quite an…
