The 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon was an iconic event that was a true runaway success. Amazing crowds, live entertainment, and the all-encompassing auto-buffet served joyfulness for everyone in attendance. These are images and details for Jaguar's new XF-R model. The car was designed and built to rival the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Audi RS6. The new Jag has a more aggressive looking front end highlighted by a black mesh grille, hood louvres and chromed air intakes. 2009 Nissan GT-R SpecV

The much anticipated GT-R SpecV model that comes to the market only a year after the standard GT-R's debut, was officially unveiled today by Nissan. The new sportier version promises the same user-friendly character of the original model, but adds new modifications, including body, interior and performance equipment and modifications. Right now, the new GT-R SpecV will only be available in Japan, but don't be surprised if Nissan offers a few examples in North America and selected European markets in the very near future. Looking like something out of a Sci-Fi movie, this weird-looking sports car is the W3 Triposto and it's the work of Canadian engineer Clyde Kwok and his son Hugh, a racecar driver. Their company, Wingho Auto, builds the W3 Triposto using a Porsche 911 as a donor car. Clyde and Hugh prefer early 1990's 911s, modifying the 3.6-liter boxer engine to produce 300 horsepower, but the Canadian duo can work with more modern 911s as well.
