Kia’s Soul’ster open-air concept was unveiled at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, which is a variation of the highly anticipated Soul that will arrive at Kia Motors dealerships this spring. These are images and details for Jaguar's new XF-R model. The car was designed and built to rival the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Audi RS6. The new Jag has a more aggressive looking front end highlighted by a black mesh grille, hood louvres and chromed air intakes. Some other style upgrades found include side sills, a reworked rear fascia and quad tipped exhaust pipes. Sony is expanding its mobile audio lineup by introducing eight new Xplod in-dash CD receivers. The new units are designed to meet the growing demand for iPod and Bluetooth compatability. The new models stress connectivity and convenience. Four new models are being added to Sony's GT line of car stereo's that feature USB connections for the iPod, iPhone and other USB devices as well as a rear aux-in. The much anticipated GT-R SpecV model that comes to the market only a year after the standard GT-R's debut, was officially unveiled today by Nissan. The new sportier version promises the same user-friendly character of the original model, but adds new modifications, including body, interior and performance equipment and modifications. Right now, the new GT-R SpecV will only be available in Japan, but don't be surprised if Nissan offers a few examples in North America and selected European markets in the very near future. Looking like something out of a Sci-Fi movie, this weird-looking sports car is the W3 Triposto and it's the work of Canadian engineer Clyde Kwok and his son Hugh, a racecar driver. Their company, Wingho Auto, builds the W3 Triposto using a Porsche 911 as a donor car. Clyde and Hugh prefer early 1990's 911s, modifying the 3.6-liter boxer engine to produce 300 horsepower, but the Canadian duo can work with more modern 911s as well.
