DUB Magazine, and it's publisher DUB Publishing, are aware of an ongoing, fraudulent email campaign targeting fans of the DUB Show Tour and DUB Magazine. Those engaged in the fraudulent scheme falsely claim to represent either DUB Magazine or the DUB Show Tour and purport to operate a vehicle wrap advertising program wherein private citizens are allegedly being paid to have their vehicles wrapped with "DUB" materials to act as mobile advertising.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DUB DOES NOT OPERATE ANY VEHICLE WRAP ADVERTISING PROGRAMS.
Anyone claiming to represent DUB with regard to such a program is engaged in fraud and has no connection with DUB Magazine, the DUB Show Tour, or DUB Publishing. You will not be contacted by DUB personnel with regard to any vehicle wrap or other similar advertising program and any email that claims to come from DUB with regard to such a program is fraudulent. In addition, you should be aware that DUB personnel do not use emails from general domains (e.g. gmail.com, yahoo.com, aol.com, or hotmail.com). Anyone claiming to represent DUB whose email does not come from the official dubmagazine.com domain does not represent DUB and is engaged in fraud. If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent DUB and you are uncertain regarding the validity of their claims please contact DUB directly through our web portal at www.dubmagazine.com. If you are contacted by any person or persons with regard to an advertising scheme such as that described above we recommend that you not engage with them in any way and immediately report the attempted fraud to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center located at www.ic3.gov
and/or your local law enforcement authorities. Retain copies of any related correspondence for your own records and to facilitate investigation by the appropriate authorities.
