Bentley's new convertible Continental GTC Speed Featured

The Bentley GTC Speed coupe was unveiled last year and hit the market late last summer but now Bentley is introducing its latest member of the Continental family. Say hello to the very stylish GTC convertible that will be officially unveiled at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show next month. It's the most powerful convertible ever built by Bentley. It features an updated version of a twin-turbo charged 6.0L W12 engine that has sSome new changes in the update including a new crankcase design, a camshaft chain that is lighter and a cam sensor that is faster. The turbos will also increase boost pressure. The Speed model has a top speed of 200mph with the roof up and 195mph with the top down. It has a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds and 600-hp! Some other features on the Speed model include 20-inch wheels, a front bumper that's particular to this model and a stiffer suspension. The front grille is also a little different in that its more upright and has a more pronounced square edge. The interior gets the usual Bentley treatment with Nappa leather trim, seat piping, an 1,100W Naim audio system and alot of wood and chrome. Check out the images and let us know what you think.
